For K-12 districts

AI literacy every student deserves.

Xyplor brings AI fluency to K-12 districts through real, hands-on building. Per-seat licensing, COPPA-aligned, parent-visible AI, and aligned to ISTE and CSTA standards.

From $8/student/month · Volume discounts available · DPA on request

The students in your buildings will work with AI for life.

They need to learn how to direct it now — in elementary, middle, and high school — not after they graduate.

A new literacy

AI fluency is becoming a foundational skill — alongside reading, writing, and numeracy. Xyplor teaches kids to describe, evaluate, and iterate with AI in plain English.

Real projects, not worksheets

Students build playable games, useful tools, quizzes, and websites. Outputs are tangible, shareable, and portfolio-ready — well-suited to PBL and competency-based learning.

Standards-aligned

Mapped to ISTE Standards for Students and CSTA K-12 CS Standards (AI/ML strand). State AI literacy frameworks supported on request.

Built for student safety

Every AI conversation is safety-filtered and parent-visible. Kid PIN authentication. No third-party advertising. No student content used to train AI models.

Privacy-first by design

COPPA-aligned. FERPA-aligned in design. Encrypted at rest and in transit. Data Privacy Agreement available. State-specific data privacy addenda supported.

Equity by access

No prior coding required. Works on any browser and Chromebook. Multi-language UI on the roadmap. Designed for kids across every background and starting point.

Three ways districts deploy Xyplor

Mix and match based on what your district is solving for.

Most common

After-school enrichment

Replaces or supplements existing after-school STEM/coding clubs. Self-paced, kid-driven. Minimal teacher load. Per-student licensing.

In-class supplemental

Integrated into tech, library, innovation, or maker periods. Teacher facilitates rather than instructs. Pairs with PBL units.

Summer learning

10-week themed programs for break periods. Reduces summer slide while building real portfolios. Strong fit for ESSER and Title funding.

Frequently asked questions

Is Xyplor approved for use in K-12 schools?
Xyplor is designed to meet the privacy and safety bar K-12 districts require: COPPA-aligned data handling, parent-visible AI conversations, kid PIN authentication, and content safety filtering on every AI response. We are actively partnering with pilot districts. Approval still requires each district's standard vendor evaluation — we provide compliance documentation and a Data Privacy Agreement (DPA) on request.
Is Xyplor FERPA-compliant?
Xyplor is built with FERPA in mind. We do not sell or share student data, do not display third-party advertising, and do not use student content to train AI models. We provide a Data Privacy Agreement (DPA) for districts and can sign state-specific data privacy addenda (e.g., SDPC NDPA). FERPA compliance is contractual and your district counsel must confirm.
How much does Xyplor cost for a district?
Volume licensing starts at $8 per student per month. Annual contracts and multi-year agreements include district-level volume discounts. Pricing covers the full platform: AI maker, mentor (Nova), strength assessment, portfolios, and the educator dashboard. Contact us for a custom quote based on enrollment.
What standards does Xyplor align with?
Xyplor aligns with ISTE Standards for Students (Empowered Learner, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, Digital Citizen) and CSTA K-12 Computer Science Standards in the AI/ML strand. We map activities to your state's AI literacy framework on request.
How is Xyplor different from Code.org, Scratch, or Tynker?
Those platforms teach coding syntax through visual blocks. Xyplor teaches kids to direct AI in plain English — the foundational skill of the next decade. Kids describe ideas, AI builds them, kids iterate. The thinking skills (decomposition, evaluation, iteration, judgment) transfer everywhere AI is used.
How do you handle student data privacy?
Student data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We collect the minimum needed: name, age, parent-managed account, creations, AI conversations. We never sell data, never show ads, never use student content to train AI models. Parents and educators can view, export, and delete student data on request. A full Data Privacy Agreement is available for districts.
What deployment models does Xyplor support?
Three primary models: (1) After-school enrichment — students access Xyplor outside class hours; (2) In-class supplemental — teachers integrate Xyplor into existing tech, library, or innovation periods; (3) Summer learning — themed multi-week programs for break-period engagement. Districts mix-and-match based on needs.
Do teachers need training?
Minimal. Xyplor is designed for kids to drive — the AI mentor (Nova) provides the scaffolding. Teachers act as facilitators rather than instructors. We provide a 30-minute onboarding for educators plus a self-serve teacher resource library with sample prompts, lesson plan templates, and assessment rubrics.
Can Xyplor be funded with ESSA Title IV-A?
Many districts allocate Title IV-A (Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grants) to AI literacy initiatives, which Xyplor squarely fits. Eligibility depends on your district's plan. We provide alignment documentation; your federal programs office makes the final determination.
Is there a pilot program?
Yes. We're onboarding a small cohort of pilot districts in 2026. Pilot terms include reduced first-year pricing, weekly office hours with our team, and direct input on feature roadmap. Email partnerships@xyplor.com to start a conversation.
