How much does the Xyplor Summer Sprint cost?

The sprint is $79 per child, paid one-time at enrollment. Each additional sibling enrolled together gets a 15% discount, so a second child is $67. Refunds are full before the cohort starts, prorated weekly through week 2, and zero after week 2.

How is the Sprint different from the 10-week Summer Camp?

Same idea — a kid ships a real project by directing AI — but the Sprint is 4 weeks and $79 instead of 10 weeks and $150. The Sprint is a faster, lower-commitment on-ramp: the child locks an idea in week 1 and ships and showcases by week 4. The 10-week camp goes deeper, with playtesting, iteration, and a full portfolio writeup. Families short on summer time, or wanting to try Xyplor before committing to the full camp, choose the Sprint.

Does the Summer Sprint require coding experience?

No. Children direct AI in plain English to build their project. The skill being taught is AI direction — describing what you want, reading what AI produces, and iterating — not writing code from scratch.

When does the Summer Sprint start?

There are two Sprint cohorts in 2026: one starting June 22 and one starting July 20. Each runs 4 weeks and is capped at 200 children.

What does my child walk away with from the Sprint?

A shipped, playable project (game, site, story, or tool); a short build story describing how they made it; the AI direction skill; and an optional public showcase listing on the Xyplor gallery (with parent consent).

Can I get a refund for the Summer Sprint?

Yes — full refund before the cohort starts. Weekly prorated refund during weeks 1 and 2 (refund equals price × weeks remaining ÷ 4). No refund after week 2. If a child misses time, parents can request a per-kid extension that shifts only that child's schedule.

Is the Summer Sprint safe for children?

Yes. Every AI conversation is safety-filtered and visible to parents. Public showcase requires explicit parent consent (default off). Names and ages never appear publicly without consent. COPPA-aligned design.

What if my kid misses time?▾

Tell us — we'll extend their schedule. It's a per-kid offset, so everyone else's dates stay on track.

My kid doesn't know how to code. Is that okay?▾

Yes — no coding required. Kids describe what they want in plain English; AI builds it. Then they iterate: "make the boss harder," "add a leaderboard." That's the skill.

What ages?▾

Ages 6–17. The AI adapts complexity to age. Younger kids ship something they're proud of; older kids ship a portfolio-worthy piece.

Will my kid only build games?▾

No — kids can build games, interactive stories, websites, quizzes, art generators, and small tools. They pick what to ship in week 1. The structure works for any project type — it's about iteration and shipping, not the medium.
